I was thinking about what I want
I was thinking about where I wanna go
And I was thinking about who I wanna be
So I pulled out my phone
And I called my mom and everyone I wanna be And I told them I wanna be someone else
But I’ve never wanted to be anybody but me
And you’ve gotta think about what you’ve learned What you’ve learned is love is the key
What you’ve learned is love is the key
I’m down whatever x4
Somebody else Somebody else
I feel a need to love
I feel a need to be loved
And I feel a need to make myself yours
And I feel a need to make myself mine
So I feel as much as I can
And I feel as close as I can
To living a story that makes me feel me
And giving you the space to live a story that makes you feel you

Alvvays has always been great, but with this album they took it to the next level. Every one of these songs is lodged in my brain now, permanently (in a good way). s. moxley

Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
