I’ll sleep when dead I go, I go, I go, I go, I go x 2
I’m losing life at least I’m here it’s real I’m real
I’ll sleep when dead I go, I go, I go, I go, I go
The best me
The worst me
Am I
Am I just my dreams, am I just my dreams Amnesia, insomnia
I was with ya, I was with ya, I was with ya, I was with ya In the fall, ambition calls
You write your story on your skin
Mine’s in my head
We could co-direct, we could co-direct, we could co-direct, we could
I feel it in myself
I feel it in myself
And it won’t be long
No it won’t be long away
Alvvays has always been great, but with this album they took it to the next level. Every one of these songs is lodged in my brain now, permanently (in a good way). s. moxley
Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
